MOST21 – communication from CAE

in News

Dear Partners,

As you know, our pan-Canadian network has submitted the MOST21 Letter of Intent (LOI) as part of the federal government’s Super Cluster program.  I am very proud of the fact that our proposal is truly multisector, rallying industries and academia encompassing space, advanced manufacturing, information technologies, artificial intelligence and aviation.  Although we have not yet received any official response, we are excited about the potential of being invited to participate in the next phase.   I believe that, at this point, we need to ensure we are ready when called to action.

We therefore invite you to a mobilization event of the organizations, industries and academic institutions which submitted letters of support to the MOST21 LOI filed on July 21st 2017.  This event will take place on October 5th 2017 in Ottawa at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, a landmark of a remarkable history of Canadian innovation.   The purpose of this event, intended to be inclusive and unifying, is twofold: strengthen the links across the network we have built along the spirit of the Government’s supercluster initiative, and discuss collaboration strategies and governance mechanisms to realize the vision of MOST21.

Your presence at this mobilization day is important and I look forward to meeting you to continue developing what we have started together.
