Hosted by the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC), the Canadian Aerospace Summit brings together industry players, including Canadian and international companies, government, and academia. On November 15, Denis Faubert, President and CEO of CARIC, will participate in a panel discussion on innovation at the Summit.
The innovation panel will be an opportunity to discuss the importance of innovation for the Canadian aerospace industry and means for staying competitive. The speakers will also talk about CARIC’s unique innovation process, which has led to some excellent accomplishments since the organization was founded in 2014. Mr. Faubert will be joined by Mike Greenley from L3 WESCAM, Mike McCarthy from MHI Canada, Lee Obst from Rockwell Collins Canada, and Marc St-Hilaire from CAE.
Mr. Faubert has been President and CEO of CARIC and the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Québec (CRIAQ) since 2014. He serves on many committees and projects, including the board of directors at the Green Aviation Research and Development Network (GARDN), the National Optics Institute (known by its French acronym, INO) and Aéro Montréal.
