Elizabeth (Ellie) Wood is a Regional Director of Environmental Strategy at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where she is responsible for developing and executing sustainable aviation fuel projects and engagements in North America and Asia Pacific. Ellie also has responsibilities for shaping Boeing’s emerging biofuels strategy and is currently serving as the Chair and Secretariat of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Users Group (SAFUG).
A native of Seattle, Ellie attained her Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from Colorado College and was awarded her Master of Arts in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she researched alternative energy policy and transportation. Ellie began her employment at the Boeing Company as an Environmental Analyst. An avid runner and outdoor enthusiast, Ellie lives in Seattle with her boyfriend and Jack Russell Terrier.
