The company flew missions throughout Canada, including beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations in the Arctic.

UAV Associations – Declan joined the Board of Directors of Unmanned Systems Canada (Formerly – UVS Canada) in 2008 and has been involved with the association ever since. Following his third term on the Board, Declan stepped down as vice chairman from the executive but continues as an Ex officio board member. Events and education – Declan has been heavily involved in the promotion of UAV technology to the commercial sector. He initiated, organised and chaired the Civil / Commercial workshops at each year’s Unmanned Systems Canada conference from 2011 to 2015. In 2016 he co-founded Drone Fair and ran educational events in Vancouver, Calgary and Oshawa featuring the positive applications of UAV technology. The focus of each event was to promote the safe use of UAV’s for commercial and recreational users of this technology through presentations, demonstrations and networking.

Declan now operates as an independent consultant developing pilot projects and commercial operations advisory services to companies and corporations seeking to adopt and implement unmanned vehicle technology into their particular industry sector.
