Flavie Côté is the Director of Communications for CARIC and the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Québec (CRIAQ).
After 10 years in communications and public affairs at Hydro-Québec, as its official spokesperson, she joined Université de Montréal to act as Senior Advisor, Media Relations, and, in turn, assist the Dean of Arts and Sciences with his duties as the Director of his office.
As spokesperson for Hydro-Québec and Université de Montréal, she managed communications regarding the strategic direction of these institutions and developed strong crisis management skills, particularly during the 2012 student conflict.
Ms. Côté won, with Hydro-Québec’s Media Relations and Public Affairs team, the 2004 Prix Equinoxes in the “Crisis Management and Business Continuity” category, awarded by the Société des relations publiques du Québec, now called SQPRP. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Political Science from Université de Montréal.
